Ingredients

  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 Garlic
  • 360g Broccoli
  • 140g Orzo
  • 15g Raisins
  • 20g Walnuts
  • 200g Ground Chicken with Herbs
  • 20g Pecorino
  • 40g Italian Herbs
  • 1000ml Vegetable Bouillon
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Method

Step 1

Prepare the stock in a lidded pan for the broccoli and orzo. Cut the red onion into half rings and crush or finely chop the garlic.

Step 2

Cut the broccoli flower into florets and the stem into cubes.

Step 3

Cook the orzo, covered, in the pot with a lid for 8 minutes. After 2 minutes add the broccoli and after 4 minutes add the raisins. Then drain and let it steam without the lid.

Step 4

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the red onion, garlic and walnuts for 2 minutes over low heat. Add the chicken mince and fry for 4-5 minutes over medium heat.

Step 5

Add the broccoli, orzo, raisins, Italian seasoning and most of the pecorino to the wok or skillet. Heat over high heat for 2-3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.

Step 6

Divide the dish between the plates and garnish with the remaining pecorino.
