Press the garlic. Chop the onion. Cook and crumble the bacon. Dice the potatoes into big cubes. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large saucepan. Add the onion and garlic, cook for about 4 minutes. Add the potatoes and cook for 2 more minutes. Add 1.2liters of water (6 cups) with as many bouillon blocks as needed. Boil for 20 minutes. Remove 1 cup of potato and set aside. Remove soup from heat, then add 1/4th of a cup of sour cream. Blend the soup until smooth, then season with pepper and oregano. Divide the potato between serving bowls, top with soup and sprinkle in bacon.Ingredients
