Ingredients

  • 1 Red Onion
  • 100g Italian Cheese [THIS IS A GUESS, EXPERIMENT]
  • 200g Creme Fraiche [THIS IS A GUESS, EXPERIMENT]
  • Flammkuchen Dough
  • 100g Serranohjam
  • Groene Kool

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C convection). Slide a baking sheet into the oven to preheat. Halve, peel and cut the onion into thin strips. Grate cheese.

Step 2

Mix the crème fraîche with the cheese and season with pepper.

Step 3

Remove the outer leaves and the core of the savoy cabbage and cut it into very thin strips. You use half of the savoy cabbage today, so you can use the other half for a salad the next day, for example. Mix the half you use with 1-2tbsp cheese cream__ and knead firmly. Add if necessary. some olive oil.

Step 4

Roll out the dough with adhering baking paper over the preheated baking tray. Brush with the rest of the crème fraîche and top with the savoy cabbage and onion.

Step 5

Cut half of the ham into strips and divide them over the flammkuchen. Bake the flammkuchen in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Cut into pieces and serve.
